Coming 2019

When was the last time you stopped, sat or stood tall, took a deep breath, let it go, and consciously decided to smile?

When was the last time you left your phone at home and committed your attention to the people and places around you?

Perhaps these are questions we need to ask ourselves more often.

Modern industry, business and life are running at a pace that can leave you feeling like the weeks are slipping away. These aren't just weeks of work, forms, revenue, graphs, estimates and projections. They are irreplaceable weeks of your employees and clients lives, and of your own.

It's becoming more evident that the pace of modernity can have consequences on overall morale, productivity and home life. If not balanced, these can snow-ball into, or aggravate further, physical and mental health issues. Thankfully the stigma surrounding these conversations is lifting and giving way to a resurgence of mindfulness practices that are beneficial to people in countless ways; both professionally and personally.

At Canadian Adventure Expeditions we are working to develop Rest & Relaxation experiences that center around guided meditation, yoga and reconnecting with the outdoors. These programs will be available starting in 2019.
