CANOEING

There are few activities as iconically Canadian as canoeing. So much so, that the canoe was actually in competition with the maple leaf for the center space on our national flag. With more freshwater than any other country, Canada's extensive network of rivers and lakes was the primary mode of transportation across the land. Canoeing is a great way to reconnect with Canadian history and travel to remote places, ideal for wildlife viewing. Paddling takes cooperation, communication and determination. All of which are exercised when someone decides to embark on a voyage by way of canoe. Canoeing on one of our expeditions is an excellent way for us to teach your students the fundamentals of paddling and canoe handling. Find out how to get your class into canoes on your next outdoor adventure.
