CANADIAN ADVENTURE EXPEDITIONS
ROCK/ICE CLIMBING
Nothing gels a team more than shared experience.
Rock and ice climbing are great ways to help your students learn cooperative skills, practice communication, safety management and risk assessment while overcoming challenges together. Not to mention the inherent adrenaline and confidence boosts that come along with feeling the wind rush across you on an exposed cliff face. Practically, safety at heights and rock climbing are skills used in the professional fields of wildlife biology and cinematography, emergency rescue and in numerous skilled trades. Gaining experience and confidence in knot tying and understanding how ropes bear-load are invaluable skills that can be used in everyday life situations (i.e. tying equipment to the roof of a car, or rigging lines and pulleys to draw a vehicle from a ditch). Let us organize half and full day climbing experiences for your class. Because nothing boosts morale like novel and exhilarating experiences!
