Marsh's Falls Electric Canoe Tour

Description

You, or you and a guest can sit back and relax on this 3-hour tour up the historic Oxtongue River to the breathtaking Marsh's Falls. We'll depart from Dwight Beach on Lake of Bays in our electric powered canoe, enjoying the unique biodiversity of the area. We'll have a chance to encounter various wildlife along the way, such as loons, herons, kingfishers, beavers, snapping turtles and otters. No need to paddle; you can keep your camera at-the-ready for some amazing shots. We'll take some time to explore the falls on foot, relax, and cool off with an optional swim. Your guide will take you in your own private, 16 foot Grumman aluminum canoe powered by a silent running, eco-friendly electric engine, offering wildlife and nature interpretation along the way. Tours run rain or shine, with rain gear and dry bags provided. What To Bring: Hat Sunglasses Sunscreen Water bottle Camera Rain gear (if you prefer to bring your own) Warm clothes (the temperature can be 10 degrees cooler on the lake) Walking or water shoes (no flip-flops) Please note: No Smoking No Alcohol What you should bring: • Snacks and plenty of water to drink (try to pack everything in reusable containers) • Closed toed shoes for walking around the falls • Rain jacket/windbreaker • Towel and bathing suit for an optional swim • Sunscreen, lip balm, hat, sunglasses with tether, buff/bandana • Insect repellant • Phone (and water protective case)/camera for photos!
